Aethusa cynapium, prepared from the whole flowering plant (family Umbelliferæ), acts prominently on the brain, nervous system, and gastrointestinal tract.
It is especially suited to infants and children, particularly during dentition and summer complaints, where symptoms appear suddenly with marked weakness and intolerance to milk.

Key Indications

Milk Intolerance in Infants (Core Sphere)

• Vomiting of milk immediately after feeding
• Milk expelled in curdled form
• Inability to digest milk → rapid exhaustion
• Common in bottle-fed infants
• Child becomes weak, drowsy, and collapsed after vomiting

Diarrhoea & Cholera Infantum

• Watery, green, undigested stools
• Diarrhoea with colic and sudden prostration
• Cold, clammy skin with dilated pupils and stupor
• Vomiting + diarrhoea leading to rapid dehydration and weakness

Nervous System Disturbances

• Sudden weakness with loss of coordination
• Clenched thumbs, spasms, convulsive tendency
• Squinting or rolling of eyes
